MCM Guest Room - Part One

As shared last month, I recently purchased a new home, my beloved #BungalowintheA! Over the next few months I’ll be tackling each room in the house, beginning with the guest room. Thankfully, as an All Modern Ambassador, my friends at AM are helping me transform the room into a marvelous mid-century modern (MCM) space!

Guest rooms are usually the last in a new home that residents worry about, but since I’d be repurposing all of my old SF apartment’s bedroom furniture for the space (upholstered bed, artwork, nightstand, etc.), the room was 80% complete. I plan to create a boarded accent wall with a pop of color, a new desk/vanity space and a sitting area near the window. I’d also reuse a lot of my colorful artwork to create a gallery wall and style the remainder of the room. The room is pretty much a blank canvas, so I can’t wait to get started!

BEFORE:

All Modern offers a variety of furniture and decor elements to create a mid-century bedroom of your own for guests in your home. Take a look at some of the products I purchased for this space and others that inspired me throughout the process!
