Have you ever met someone whose spirit just spoke directly to your soul? Someone that was just as beautiful on the outside as they are on the inside, and just being in their presence made you feel more beautiful too? Well, meet Chavon!
Chavon is the owner of Skinfinity Esthetics located in Dunwoody, GA. As an esthetician, Chavon provides customized facials, advanced treatment modalities, massage and hair removal services to nurture your mind, body, and spirit. The licensed and trained professionals at Skinfinity Esthetics are committed to providing an elevated spa experience that leave one looking and feeling their best.
However, Chavon is so much more than an esthetician. Though the services she provides drastically improves one’s skin, she goes above and beyond to educate her clients about their personal skincare and creates an environment where you can truly relax and leave your day at the door. Everything from her comedic and therapeutic conversations to the curated tunes of Anita Baker or Fred Hammond serenading you to peacefulness is a piece of the perfect puzzle that makes up Skinfinity Esthetics. When Chavon reached out to BLB last year, she asked for my help as she transitioned from her quaint commercial space to a larger multi-room location about a mile away. Expanding her office would allow Chavon to treat more clients, hire staff, and get closer to her entrepreneurial goals. After meeting Chavon in person and being introduced to both her divine facials and personality, I couldn’t wait to help her achieve this dream!
First, let’s take a look at her previous location and the new commercial space she’d be moving in to:
Chavon’s former location had one reception area and one and a half treatment rooms. Her new location would have FOUR treatment rooms, a larger reception area, relaxation suite/quiet room, and break room and storage for her growing team. Once her lease was official, we removed all the bulky dated furniture from each room and updated the wall color and flooring to cool grey tones that would brighten up and modernize the commercial space. Now that we had a fresh new palette to work from, we first focused on the reception area. We purchased a custom reception desk that would accommodate her point-of-sale system and meet all storage needs while giving the location a professional look and feel to welcome new and existing clients. We also sourced oriental rugs and modern furniture providing seating for four clients in her waiting area, something Chavon didn’t have in her old location. Chavon has a love for antique finds and decor with texture and character. We were able to combine some of her old office items and decor with new oversized mirrors, abstract artwork, and metallic accents to elevate the commercial office and give guests an elevated, luxury feel. Lastly, we adorned each space with textured drapery on all windows to give her clients some privacy while adding a little flair and to each treatment room.
