Y’all… It’s officially official… I’m a Cover Girl! 🥹😭
There are no words to describe how unbelievable, tremendous, and full-circle this moment is for me. My design work. My entire home. My curly hair and brown face. Is in a 10-page spread in the May issue (the infamous COLOR issue!) of HGTV magazine! And if all that wasn’t overwhelming enough, my guest bedroom is on THE freakin COVER! What is my life!? Year, life, and design career MADE! *begins crying again*
Thank you to the incredible HGTV dream team that came from across the country into my home and heart in February to capture my bungalow full of color, character, and culture! Our week together is one I won’t forget and I am so grateful for each of you - Stephanie, Jami, Kathleen, Chris, Evan, Adam, Jason, Jaimie, and Sidney! (btw, this is the largest amount of people that’s ever been in my house! 🤣) Thank you, Sogole and my phenomenal team at A Design Partnership for making my dreams come true, Kayla for making me look and feel beautiful, and for every single person in my supportive circle that helped me keep this secret, but also constantly and affirmatively told me I am deserving and that this is just the beginning for BLB. I didn’t think it would feel real til the magazine was in my mailbox and hand, yet it still feels like a fairytale. 🥹
Y’all…Blessed Little Bungalow is in AND on the cover of my favorite national publication. 😭 Thank you HGTV magazine! Now we party! 🥳
