There’s nothing more annoying than purchasing and moving into a new house just to have to put more money into it. Missing closet rods, zero laundry cabinets, mediocre light fixtures…Blah! My new construction home was all the above and my mudroom was no exception, so I spent the past two months breathing some life into the space!

Society teaches us to go to school, get in debt, and try to make as much money as possible. They tell us to work for 'the man,' and even if you have other interests, don’t quit your day job. But what if all of that doesn’t equate to happiness?

The heart of a home is the kitchen, so it’s very important to me to be head over heels about my own. After purchasing my new house in February, I wasted zero time transforming my kitchen, and thanks to Clare, I’m so in love with it’s new look!

About five years ago when I first started BLB, one of my first clients was an old colleague in my old (and now new) city of Atlanta. I was ecstatic to hear from her years later when she sought BLB’s help with her new home!

In between my busy career and BLB client projects, I made my biggest pandemic purchase yet… a new bungalow! This spring, I will be relocating from San Francisco, CA back to Atlanta, GA! ATL, I’m coming home! <3

Blending your belongings and tastes in a new home can be difficult for newlyweds, but I’m always up for the challenge! Luckily, my powerhouse California client couple made this process and project super easy.

“Now look, I’m a man’s man…but I love pattern, color and paisley.” This is one of the first things my client, Brandon shared with me during our initial conversation. From that moment, I knew this design project was going to be special. I was so excited to help him decorate his newly renovated home in Charlotte this summer.

Today on the blog, I’m breaking down the details of my bedroom refresh in my new San Francisco apartment! As a new AllModern Ambassador (hooray!), I’ll also share decor that you can use to update your own bedroom space this season.

Two years ago, I had the pleasure of designing Melissa Chanel’s home office aka #ProjectChateauChanel and bedroom #ProjectBohoModern. Since then, both of our businesses have grown quite a bit, and now she’s engaged and a new homeowner! I was so excited when she asked me to help her transform her and her fiancé’s new townhome with the same multicolor, edgy style that went beyond both of our comfort zones.

This summer marked my ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY in the Bay! I celebrated by moving from Burlingame into San Francisco. During such a crazy time when many are fleeing SF to work remotely at a cheaper cost of living, I was overflowing with excitement about moving into the city, even if socially-distanced.

I love working with couples, especially power couples like George and Majesty! Last summer, they moved into a new row house and sought out BLB’s assistance to help them decorate it to their taste and style!
