At the start of the pandemic, Brenda and Kenneth purchased a brand new 4 bed, 3-1/2 bath home in Kennesaw, Georgia. Over the past two years, their family has grown with a new baby girl asI helped them design each blank space in their home into a cultural and colorful retreat that reflects their heritage and personalities.

Last spring, a new client reached out for some assistance in completing the design of her living room. She already purchased a few items but wanted BLB’s help “create the perfect Art Deco-fused Afrocentric look.”

What’s the best birthday gift you’ve ever received? Last spring, I got a call from a husband wanting to surprise his wife with BLB’s help designing their new home!

Although many clients seek my help when moving from a rented apartment into a single-family home, this BLB client requested the opposite in an effort to downsize and destress.

Five months ago, I purchased a new home and moved across the country from San Francisco back to Atlanta to start the next phase of my life. After putting the finishing touches on all the decor, I was honored to have renowned interiors photographer, Kimberly Murray capture every inch of my home this summer to share with you all.

What’s that one room in your home where the door is always closed? You know the one. That guest room turned Amazon box storage space. That office turned gym turned art studio. That closet turned makeshift tool shed or the “she shed” that never got completed. Well, this client’s catch-all room needed to transform into a newborn’s nursery in less than 90 days, so these super busy, soon-to-be parents came to BLB for help!
